18ct Yellow Gold Antique Synthetic Sapphire And Diamond Boat Ring 1914

Step back into the early 20th century with this elegant antique "boat-style" ring, hallmarked for Birmingham 1914. A classic example of late Edwardian craftsmanship, the ring features a central synthetic sapphire flanked by two shimmering diamonds with a further two synthetic sapphires set at each tip, all set within a traditional navette or "boat" shaped gallery.

The use of synthetic sapphires was highly popular and technologically prestigious during this era, offering a vibrant, consistent blue that perfectly complements the bright white diamonds. The stones are held in a low-profile carved setting, characteristic of the period, which allows the ring to sit smoothly against the finger. Crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold, this piece carries the substantial feel and deep lustre of high-carat antique jewellery.

Unfortunately due to the age, style location of the hallmarks on this piece we will not be able to offer a sizing service on this ring.  You may be able to find a local jeweller who is willing to undertake the work but the due to the hallmarks at the centre of the band they would likely be damaged or lost during the process and as such we will not offer sizing. 

As with all vintage and antique jewellery, there are likely to be signs of wear conducive with age and use. It is an integral part of what makes them appealing, adding history, charm and individualism to each piece.
